Co-working is a way to get many of the perks of an office environment while enjoying the flexibility and low cost of only paying for the time you need. Flex desks are the individual work zones provided within a co-work space that might see a rota of different people using them on different days and at different times. 

The flex desks at Fireweed are comfortable spaces with lots of natural light. Some are moveable tables, and others are a cross between a diner booth and a study carrel. You can prop your laptop and paperwork open, spread out your personal items, connect to the internet and get busy. You might have a table or a booth or even the entire space to yourself, or there might be a couple of other people working away too. If there is a pop-up cafe going on (check the schedule!), expect a pleasant atmosphere with some background conversation just like you would experience in a large office; if you prefer less distraction, bring headphones or borrow one of our sets. If you need to ensure a level of privacy and quiet, book the zoom room.

You can come and go as you please, take breaks and move about as needed. We only ask that you respect the space and the needs of other users. If you are planning a video-conference, we recommend using a headset if others are working in the same room. If the zoom room is not booked, you could consider using it for brief phone and video calls.
