This week: “A test of character” with Daniel Hellyer 11-Noon

75 years ago, an old man set off on a quest without any chance of success; a fool’s adventure. A week later, this unknown, small-town bus driver was a front-page name and the nation’s pride. A 65 year old mortal was transformed into a Superhero and his story became a legend. ‘A Test of Character’ is a retelling of the tale and an attempt to find the real person beneath Superman’s cape.
