There is a clear need for small meeting space in our area, and the current Fireweed Hub is serving well in this respect. There have been five meetings in the space this week, and new inquiries are coming regularly. While the village halls are suitable for large open-house style meetings and events, they are more expensive and larger than necessary for many of our hard-working local groups. Fireweed is an affordable way to meet as a group of 2 to 8. Informal committees, community advocacy groups, non-profit societies and freelancers’ business meetings with clients all fit beautifully in our current space.
